Cancellation Policy
Appointment Policy for Microblading and Micropigmentation Services:
We want to ensure that your Microblading and Micropigmentation experience at The Studio Medical + Beauty Inc. is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. To provide adequate time for rescheduling or cancellations, we kindly request a minimum of 48-hours’ notice if you need to make any changes to your appointment.
If, for any reason, you need to reschedule or cancel your Microblading or Micropigmentation appointment and you provide at least 48-hours’ notice, there will be no charge. However, failing to provide the required notice will result in a 50% fee of the service cost.
Additionally, we would like to remind you that arriving more than 10 minutes after your scheduled service start time will also incur the same 50% fee.
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, but these policies help us efficiently manage our schedule and accommodate other clients. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Appointment Policy for Brow Bar + Lash Bar Services:
At The Studio Medical + Beauty, we value your time and aim to provide exceptional service for all our clients, including those visiting for our Brow Bar + Lash Bar services. To ensure a seamless experience and accommodate everyone’s needs, we kindly request a minimum of 24-hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your Brow Bar appointment.
If you find it necessary to reschedule or cancel your Brow Bar appointment and provide at least 24-hours’ notice, there will be no charge. However, in the event that you fail to provide the required notice, a 50% fee of the service cost will apply.
Moreover, we kindly ask that you arrive promptly for your Brow Bar appointment. Clients arriving more than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time may not be able to be accommodated and are subject to the same 50% fee.
Please keep in mind that our no-charge consultations are subject to a $15 fee if they are rescheduled or canceled without sufficient notice.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but adhering to these policies helps us ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our clients.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
At The Studio Medical + Beauty we have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind, harassment, violence, intimidation, threats and general disruptive behaviour. We are an all-inclusive business, providing services for all races, gender expressions, sexes, sexual preferences, religions, and ability. We strive to constantly maintain a positive, respectful and welcoming environment for all clients and staff. The Studio Medical + Beauty Inc. has the right to refuse any client that violates the above policy at any time via any means of communication.

Microblading + Micropigmentation Brows
Lamination + Lash Lifts + Henna
We want to ensure your safety and well-being during your visit to The Studio Medical + Beauty. It is essential to inform you that certain services, such as Lamination and Lash lifts, contain ingredients like thioglycolate and ammonia, while Henna contains an ingredient called PPD (paraphenylenediamine). These ingredients have the potential to cause an allergic reaction in some individuals. We do not recommend these services if you are pregnant.
Your health is of utmost importance to us, and we want to take every precaution to avoid any possible discomfort. If you are unsure whether these products may cause an allergic reaction for you, we highly recommend requesting a patch test at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
The patch test involves applying a small amount of the product to a discrete area of your skin. This allows us to observe if any adverse reactions occur and helps us determine the best course of action for your safety and comfort.

Touch-Up Appointments

Microblading + Micropigmentation Brows
Touch-Up Appointment: The touch-up appointment is scheduled 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure. This follow-up appointment is essential for a few reasons:
Color and Shape Adjustment: During the healing process, some of the pigment may fade or not hold as well as expected. The touch-up allows the technician to address any areas that need more color or to adjust the shape if necessary.
Enhanced Longevity: Touch-ups help to extend the longevity of the procedure. The treated area may retain the color and shape better after a touch-up, allowing the results to last longer.
Finalizing the Look: The touch-up appointment is an opportunity to fine-tune the results and ensure the client is satisfied with the outcome.
Cost: Touch-up appointments are not included in the initial price of the procedure. They are considered a separate session and will have a separate cost associated with them. This is because the touch-up appointment involves additional work and time from the technician. Touch-up pricing is $150+gst for Microblading and $200+gst for Micropigmentation.
Maintenance: Depending on the procedure and individual factors, touch-up appointments might be recommended periodically (e.g., every 6 months to 2 years depending on the service) to maintain the desired look.
It’s important to follow the aftercare instructions provided by the practitioner to ensure optimal healing and results between the initial appointment and the touch-up. Always consult with the professional who performed the procedure for specific guidance tailored to your situation.
